Stitch and Bitch...

While I was home for Nan's funeral I found a few minutes one night to share my socks I was knitting. That's my Saintly Mother on my left and my Glorious Aunt on my right. It was fun, I don't get to Stitch and Bitch very often!

Time not well wasted...

I spend or waste a lot of time looking for sock patterns and never really find to much! Today I have decided that I am going to design my own patterns! Why not hey? I already have a few ideas in my head... I'll let you know how I get on...

We also saw three moose Sunday morning. We were coming off the highway onto the Foxtrap access road. They were running into the woods. One of them was really big. Glad we didn't hit them. Once again no pictures :-(

Grosse sitting...

While driving on Friday afternoon in the Marine Drive area I saw what I thought was a duck and 2 ducklings, when I got closer I realized it was a Grosse and 2 chicks!. I stopped to get out to take pictures but the mother threw herself in the direction of the jeep. It was really funny. I did take pics but I can't find anything. Where's Waldo?

I went to the KNit in Public getogether at the Quidi Vidi Battery session on Saturday. Shirl was there, it was great to see her again. In this picture she is modeling a pair of fingerless mitts that are apparently all the rage these days...
